The
London Active Partnership joined Greenwich Deaf Play Scheme Project hosted a netball skills day for 16
children at the Boys Brigade Sports Hall in Kidbrooke
in June.
Experienced netball coaches, staff from the play
scheme and deaf volunteers enjoyed providing a fun
filled day to both boys and girls from the Scheme. The
children learned ball skills, shooting techniques,
fast footwork, netball rules and tactics, before
putting it all into practice in an energetic game.
The project is planned to be repeated over the summer
holidays, at an outdoor venue. If you are interested
in organising a junior netball project in partnership
with London Active Partnership, who provide coaches,
equipment and funding to run sports activities, then
